Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Troubleshooting
Please use the troubleshooting below to resolve the following issues with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024:
- Not getting telemetry for motion, shaking, wind effects
- Telemetry in certain aircraft is jarring/jumpy
Not getting telemetry for motion, shaking, wind effects
If you are not receiving telemetry from MSFS 2024 for motion, shaking or wind effects, ensure you have the latest Beta of Sim Racing Studio. SRS version 2.34.7.0 or higher supports MSFS 2024. You can download the latest beta from the downloads page by click on LATEST BETA (link in the lower left): https://www.simracingstudio.com/download
Once SRS 2.34.7.0 or higher is installed, configure SRS to work with MSFS 2024 by performing the following:
- Install MSFS 2024 and open it at least once
- Close MSFS 2024
- Open Sim Racing Studio
- Go to GAMES
- Select PC on the left column
- Scroll down to Flight Simulator 2024 Steam
- Select the Config button
Once configured, MSFS 2024 will work with Sim Racing Studio.
Telemetry in certain aircraft is jarring/jumping
The Boeing 747 and some other aircraft can occasionally have gaps in telemetry which result in jumping/jarring motion. This is likely a result in streaming latency or a bug for these aircraft which will set the telemetry value to 0 for a split second for certain axes. To compensate, Smoothing Effects can be increased on impacted axes.
